Despite Hitman: GO success, the next mobile Hitman is free-to-play

Newsbrief: Following the success of Hitman GO on mobile, Square Enix Montreal has revealed its next step for the Hitman franchise on mobile and tablet platforms. Hitman: Sniper is a new mobile title due for full reveal next week at E3. It’s “a massively competitive sniping game that will focus on the subtlety of execution,” according to the studio. Notably Hitman: Sniper will be a free-to-play title, a shift away from the premium approach that the studio took with GO.
