– Hearthstone botter “Jones” PC Gamer has a new article about botting in Hearthstone, in which a Blizzard rep says it takes the problem very seriously. But according to one botter interviewed for the story, there’s not much practical fallout from that. “Jones” left his Hearthstone bot running for three days straight, but didn’t get flagged as a non-human player. Bots are a big problem in online games, and can sometimes be big business: One botter recently wrote of earning over $130,000 from Diablo III’s Auction House. Blizzard’s official policy on Hearthstone bots can be found on its forums. It says that bots are a violation of Blizzard’s terms of use: “Accounts that are found to be making use of ‘bots’ are subject to penalties, up to and including permanent suspension.”
