Well the problem is well known since Microsoft launched Windows The problem is related to Windows 10 blank screen , where Windows 10 ends up displaying blank black screen after you wake up your pc from sleep.

Update: I ran the HP support assistant, had it look for updates. It found the needed driver and now my laptop shuts down correctly. I also tried going through the hybrid settings with no luck, but I ran the HP support assistant for updates and it hadn’t downloaded a BIOS update.
