Hoping someone can help me figure out a weird Word behavior that’s been present for many versions macOS :. I need to format a headline I select the whole paragraph and hit the “Bold” button.
Word bolds the entire document. Thankfully, when I “Undo” the action, the formatting of the whole document is unbolded while the formatting of the line remains. If I select only the words of the paragraph and hit bold, then no problem—only the words are bolded. But if the whole paragraph is selected, then the whole document is formatted. Barnhill If you are a user of Word or above, you may have had this experience: you click in a single paragraph or select several paragraphs and apply italics, bullets, numbering, or some other type of direct formatting and the entire document or at least more paragraphs than you had selected becomes italic, bulleted, numbered, etc.
